Password-protecting a PDF before sending it
Adding a password before emailing or uploading a sensitive PDF means that even if the file ends up somewhere it shouldn't — a misdirected email, a compromised inbox, an intercepted upload — it's unreadable without the password, which you share separately (a phone call, a different app, in person).
PrivaPDF applies this protection for free, with no upload of the file itself: the password and the document are both processed locally, and the resulting protected PDF opens correctly in Adobe Acrobat and other standard readers.
