Choosing JPG over PNG for page exports
JPG is the better choice when you're exporting photo-heavy pages or scanned documents where small file size matters more than pixel-perfect edges — social media posts, email attachments, or quick previews. It uses lossy compression that's very efficient for photographic content but introduces artifacts around sharp text edges at high compression.
PrivaPDF exports at 150 DPI by default, which is sharp for on-screen viewing; bump the density setting up if you need print-quality output, keeping in mind that higher density means a larger file per page.
