Common questions

Is my file uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device.

What is the maximum attachment size for common email providers?

Gmail and Outlook allow up to 25 MB. Yahoo Mail allows 25 MB. If you need to go under 10 MB, lower the quality slider to 60–70.

Will the compressed PDF still be readable?

Yes. At a quality setting of 70–80, image-heavy PDFs look nearly identical on screen. Text and vector elements are never degraded.

Does this work offline?

Yes. Once the page is loaded, you can disconnect from the internet and the tool will still work perfectly.
