Converting legacy .doc files, not just .docx
The older binary .doc format (pre-2007 Word) is still common in archived documents, old templates, and files from organizations that never upgraded their document standards. Converting these to PDF is trickier than modern .docx because the binary format encodes formatting differently.
PrivaPDF handles both .doc and .docx as input, so an old resume template or archived contract converts to a pixel-accurate PDF the same way a modern Word file would — without needing Microsoft Word installed to open and re-save it first.
